dadokim is 다독임 — “a soft pat” — written the way it sounds out loud.
Because we wanted to soothe every shaken part of you — and even where words fall short, to soothe you with at least one card.
Da · do · kim. Say it out loud and it becomes da · dok · im — “a soft pat.”
Like the hand that pats your shoulder when things are hard, we wanted to be the kind of friend who drops a card into your hands even when all you bring is one line.

Why we started
A friend texted me, shaking, five minutes before an interview. ChatGPT’s answer was too long and too cold, and texts from friends came too slowly. What that moment needed was a one-line ritual for the heart.
So we made it — one card to set gently beside someone who’s shaken.
Seven promises we consciously keep
Decisions made to soothe, not to sell. Under each promise, one small craft line honestly names the principle we followed.
We don’t lean on advertising
Cards are generated by an LLM; safety classification references the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare’s non-medical guidelines; and in a crisis we point you straight to crisis lines — 109 · 119 · 1577-0199 in Korea, findahelpline.com elsewhere. No ad pixels, no third-party trackers — we log only our own events.

We’ll show you someone’s beside you

Your first card is free; share it and you both get +1 credit. Not a paywall, just a gate — the ritual is free first, and sharing is always your choice.

One card a day, slowly
One free card, refreshed at midnight (KST). It isn’t unlimited, on purpose — waiting for the next card is what keeps the ritual feeling like a ritual. Card packs are there only when you want more.

What you paid for doesn’t vanish
Credits are valid for 5 years; ★pins are kept until you delete them; refunds are prorated to the credits you haven’t used (1 credit = unit price).
